The 136.32ft custom Sail yacht 'Southwind' was built by Jongert in Netherlands at their Medemblik shipyard , she was delivered to her owner in 1999 and last refitted in 2004. Previously named St. Jean, her luxurious interior was designed by Jongert.
Southwind's interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests overnight in 4 cabins, comprising a master suite, 1 double cabin and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 5 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Southwind features a displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks.
Powered by 1 MTU 534hp diesel engines and propelled by her single screw propeller sailing yacht Southwind is capable of a top speed of 11 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots when powered by her engine. With her 13,000 litres fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,500 nautical miles at 10 knots. Her water tanks store around 5,000 litres of fresh water.+ Read More
