The 41.55m/136'4" sail yacht 'Southwind' (ex. St. Jean) was built by Jongert in the Netherlands at their Medemblik shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Jongert and she was delivered to her owner in June 1999. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Peter Sijm and she was last refitted in 2020.
Southwind has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 5 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Southwind is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Southwind comfortably cruises at 10 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 11 knots with a range of up to 2,500 nautical miles from her 13,000 litre fuel tanks at 10 knots. Her water tanks store around 5,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to Lloyds Register classification society rules.
