The 102.85ft Custom motor yacht motor yacht 'La Reina del Mar' was built by Hakvoort in Netherlands at their Monnickendam shipyard , she was delivered to her owner in 1985 and last refitted in 2014. Previously named Tonga, Her elegant exterior and interior styling are the work of Pieter Beeldsnijder Design, who is also responsible for her engineering.
La Reina del Mar's interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests overnight in 4 cabins, comprising a master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, 1 double cabin and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 4 crew onboard in 2 cabins to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
La Reina del Mar features a full displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. She was built to Lloyds Register classification society rules.
Motor yacht La Reina del Mar is equipped with an ultra-modern stabilization system which reduces roll motion effect and results in a smoother more enjoyable cruising experience underway.
Powered by 2 Caterpillar (3408-DITA) 441hp diesel engines and propelled by her twin screw propellers Motor yacht La Reina del Mar is capable of a top speed of 12 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots.
