The 35.1m/115'2" motor yacht 'Gaudeamus' (ex. Pearl of the Orient) was built by Greenbay Marine in Singapore at their Singapore shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Leese Roberson Freeman and she was completed in 1997. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Studio Scanu srl and she was last refitted in 2019.
Gaudeamus has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising two VIP cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Built with a aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks, she benefits from a semi-displacement hull to provide exceptional seakeeping and impressive speeds. Powered by twin diesel MAN (D2842LYE) 1,050hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 10 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 14 knots with a range of up to 3,000 nautical miles from her 32,000 litre fuel tanks at 10 knots. An on board stabilization system ensures comfort when underway. Her water tanks store around 7,500 Litres of fresh water. She was built to ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) classification society rules.
