The 42.06m/138' motor yacht 'Rama II' (ex. Joy) was built by Alucraft in Australia at their Tuzla, Istanbul shipyard. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Ugo Costaguta and she was last refitted in 1999.
Rama II has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 7 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Rama II is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (D379) 8-cylinder 565hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 11 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 12 knots with a range of up to 6,500 nautical miles from her 85,000 litre fuel tanks at 10 knots. Her low draft of 2.01m/6'7" makes her primed for accessing shallow areas and cruising close to the shorelines. Her water tanks store around 10,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) classification society rules.
