The 43m/141'1" motor yacht 'La Sirena' (ex. Big Bad John) was built by Christensen in the United States at their Vancouver, WA shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Setzer Design Group and she was delivered to her owner in March 2000. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Christensen and she was last refitted in 2014.
La Sirena has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 suites. The supremely spacious full beam master suite features extensive storage space provided by the dressing room benefits from a his and her bathroom. She is also capable of carrying up to 7 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Her features include underwater lights, deck jacuzzi and air conditioning.
La Sirena is built with a composite hull and GRP superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel DDC/MTU (16V-2000's) 16-cylinder 1,800hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 15 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 19 knots with a range of up to 4,000 nautical miles from her 10,248 gallon fuel tanks at 14 knots. Her low draft of 2.1m/6'11" makes her primed for accessing shallow areas and cruising close to the shorelines. Her water tanks store around 1,500 Gallons of fresh water. She was built to ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) ✠A1, Yachting Service, AMS classification society rules.
