The 58.82m / 193' Custom motor yacht motor yacht 'Amara' was built by Feadship in Netherlands at their Aalsmeer shipyard , she was delivered to her owner in 1986 and last refitted in 2021 by Derecktor Shipyards. This luxury vessel's sophisticated exterior design and engineering are the work of De Voogt. Previously named Belle France, her luxurious interior was designed by Terence Disdale.
Amara's interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests overnight in 5 cabins, comprising a master suite, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 14 crew onboard in 8 cabins to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Amara features a full displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. She was built to Lloyds Register Lloyds + 100A1 + LMC classification society rules.
Motor yacht Amara is equipped with an ultra-modern stabilization system which reduces roll motion effect and results in a smoother more enjoyable cruising experience underway.
Powered by 2 Deutz (SBV 6M628) 1,455hp diesel engines and propelled by her twin screw propellers Motor yacht Amara is capable of a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 100,000 litres fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 7,250 nautical miles at 13 knots. Her water tanks store around 25,000 litres of fresh water.
