The 133.53ft custom Sail yacht 'Surama' was built by Royal Huisman in Netherlands at their Vollenhove shipyard , she was delivered to her owner in 1997 and last refitted in 2011. Previously named William Tai, her luxurious interior was designed by Andrew Winch.
Surama's interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests overnight in 3 cabins, comprising a master suite, 2 twin cabins and 2 pullman beds. She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew onboard in 3 cabins to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Surama features a displacement aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. She was built to Lloyds Register classification society rules.
Powered by 2 Mercedes (6R183TE93) 570hp diesel engines and propelled by her twin screws propelles sailing yacht Surama is capable of a top speed of 12 knots, and comfortably cruises at 11 knots when powered by her engines. With her 21,100 litres fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 5,758 nautical miles at 10 knots. Her water tanks store around 5,860 litres of fresh water.
