The 126.64ft Custom motor yacht motor yacht 'Batai' was built by Alloy Yachts in New Zealand at their Auckland shipyard , she was delivered to her owner in 2003. This luxury vessel's sophisticated exterior design and engineering are the work of Ed Dubois. Previously named SQN, her luxurious interior was designed by Donald Starkey.
Batai's interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests overnight in 4 cabins, comprising a master suite, 2 double cabins, 1 twin cabin and 1 pullman bed. She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew onboard in 3 cabins to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Batai features a semi-displacement aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. She was built to Lloyds Register classification society rules.
Batai yacht is equipped with an ultra-modern stabilization system which reduces roll motion effect and results in a smoother more enjoyable cruising experience underway. This luxury yacht is also fitted with 'at anchor stabilisers' which work at anchor, increasing on-board comfort when the yacht is stationary, particularly in rough waters.
Powered by 2 Caterpillar ( 3412E-DITA) 1,429hp diesel engines and propelled by her twin screws propelles Motor yacht Batai is capable of a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 36,334 litres fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,914 nautical miles at 13 knots. Her water tanks store around 10,740 litres of fresh water.
