Lürssen is one of the worlds leading shipyards for large luxury yacht building, founded in Germany in 1875 by Friedrich Lürssen. Many of the companies finest yachts are also available for private luxury yacht charter vacations.

Having built the very first motor yacht in the world, the first diesel engine boat and the first remote-controlled boat, Lurssen have long led the way in engineering technologies for the superyacht industry. This family-owned German shipbuilding company have a wide portfolio of work and as well as superyachts they also build naval vessels and carry out refits. 

The superyacht building division of the company only build custom tailor-made yachts, so each charter yacht is completely uniqiue. Over the years some of the largest and most impressive award-winning luxury yachts in the world have come out of their shipyard in Bremen-Vegesack, including the 180m yacht Azzam - the World's largest yacht.
