The 85.05m/279' 'Grand Ocean' motor yacht built by the German shipyard Blohm + Voss is available for charter for up to 24 guests in 14 cabins. This yacht features interior styling by Alberto Pinto.
Built in 1990, Grand Ocean is designed for exquisite indoor/outdoor living and boasts voluminous interior and exterior spaces across several decks: ideal for bronzing, lounging or entertaining. She is equipped with a beauty salon, elevator and gym.
Grand Ocean offers guest accommodation for up to 24 guests in 14 suites comprising five double cabins, six twin cabins and three single cabins. There are 25 beds in total, including 5 doubles and 14 singles. She is also capable of carrying up to 22 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.
You and your guests can enjoy a variety of experiences on Grand Ocean, particularly a beauty salon featuring all of the facilities required for a number of different beauty treatments. Take a break from a busy itinerary in the steam room and soothe tired limbs and reinvigorate yourself in the sauna. Take a plunge in the pool under the sun and in addition a gym with all the latest equipment is available for a good work out. Sit back with a glass of champagne in the deck jacuzzi.
Grand Ocean benefits from some excellent features to improve your charter, particularly an elevator, making any part of the yacht quickly and easily accessible. Stay connected to the outside world on long voyages with satellite communications and take advantage of the on board Wi-Fi and stay connected at all times. You can stay comfortable on board whatever the weather, with air conditioning during your charter.
Built with a steel hull and steel/aluminium superstructure, she offers greater on-board space and is more stable when at anchor thanks to her full-displacement hull. Powered by twin Deutz engines, she comfortably cruises at 14 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 18 knots with a range of up to 9,100 nautical miles from her 220,000 litre fuel tanks at 16 knots. An on board stabilization system ensures comfort when underway.
When not cruising Grand Ocean has onboard an incredible selection of water toys and accessories for you and your guests to connect with the waters around you. Take to the sea on the Jet Skis offering you power and control on the water. In addition there are two SEABOBs, offering a truly remarkable experience that lets you skim along the surface or swim with the fishes quietly and safely. Grand Ocean features three tenders, but leading the pack is a 3.6m/11'10" Novurania RIB to transport you in style.
She has a coral-reef aquarium rising through two deck levels.
Grand Ocean is available upon request for charter this winter. She is already accepting bookings this summer for cruising in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe.
