The 109.91ft Custom sail yacht 'SummerWind' was built by Lyman-Morse in United States at their Thomaston, Maine shipyard , she was delivered to her owner in 1929 and last refitted in 2009. This luxury vessel's sophisticated exterior design and engineering are the work of John G. Alden. Previously named Queen Tyi, Her exterior is styled by the John G. Alden team who are also responsible for the entire engineering package.
SummerWind's interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests overnight in 7 cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 4 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
SummerWind features a displacement wood hull and teak superstructure, with teak decks.
Powered by 1 MAN (D2866TE) 300hp diesel engines and propelled by her one screw propeller sailing yacht SummerWind is capable of a top speed of 10 knots, and comfortably cruises at 9 knots when powered by her engine. Her water tanks store around 3,000 of fresh water.+ Read More
