The 30.36m/99'7" expedition yacht 'Alma' (ex. Lady Esther) was built by Halter Marine in the United States at their Lockport, LA shipyard. She was converted into a yacht by Douglas Chiasson Shipyard in 1994.
Alma has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests in 4 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 3 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Alma is built with a steel hull and steel superstructure. Powered by twin diesel Detroit Diesel (16V71) 600hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 10 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 12 knots. Her water tanks store around 20,000 Litres of fresh water.
