Sea Joy is built with a steel hull and steel superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel Detroit Diesel (8V 71N) 8-cylinder 700hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 11 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 12 knots with a range of up to 2,000 nautical miles at 11 knots. She was built to Lloyds Register classification society rules.
