The 127.95ft custom Sail yacht 'Mia Cara' was built by Fitzroy in New Zealand at their Auckland shipyard , she was delivered to her owner in 2006 and last refitted in 2011. This luxury vessel's sophisticated exterior design and engineering are the work of Dubois. Previously named Zulu, her luxurious interior was designed by Redman Whiteley Dixon.
Mia Cara's interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests overnight in 4 cabins, comprising a master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, 2 twin cabins and 2 pullman beds. She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Mia Cara features a displacement aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. She was built to Lloyds Register +100A1 LMC classification society rules, and is MCA Compliant.
Powered by 1 Caterpillar (3406E “D” Rated) 700hp diesel engines and propelled by her single screw propeller sailing yacht Mia Cara is capable of a top speed of 12.8 knots, and comfortably cruises at 11 knots when powered by her engine. With her 16,150 litres fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,750 nautical miles at 10 knots. Her water tanks store around 5,140 litres of fresh water.
