The 41.76m/137' expedition yacht 'Liberta' (ex. True North) was built by Newcastle in the United States at their Palm Coast, Fl shipyard. Her interior is styled by American designer design house Luiz de Basto Designs and she was delivered to her owner in January 2007. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Luiz de Basto Designs and she was last refitted in 2014.
Liberta has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 8 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Liberta is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3412B) 12-cylinder 1,100hp engines running at 2300rpm, she comfortably cruises at 11 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 14 knots with a range of up to 4,900 nautical miles from her 73,000 litre fuel tanks at 11 knots. Her water tanks store around 23,500 Litres of fresh water. She was built to ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) ✠A1, Yachting Service, AMS classification society rules.
