The 53.6m/175'10" expedition yacht 'Itasca' (ex. Thames III) was built by J. & K. Smits Scheepswerven at their Kinderdijk shipyard. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of J. & K. Smits Scheepswerven and she was last refitted in 2010.
Itasca has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 12 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Itasca is built with a steel hull and steel superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel Smit-Man (RABL-459) 1,250hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 11 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 12 knots with a range of up to 18,426 nautical miles from her 249,340 litre fuel tanks at 11 knots. Her water tanks store around 152,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to Lloyds Register classification society rules.
