Alma is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3408TA) 364hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 10 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 13 knots with a range of up to 2,303 nautical miles from her 56,000 litre fuel tanks at 10 knots. Her water tanks store around 13,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to BV (Bureau Veritas) classification society rules.
