The 50m/164'1" motor yacht 'Koru' (ex. Azteca: Mi Alicia) was built by Feadship in the Netherlands at their Aalsmeer shipyard. Her interior is styled by English design house Bannenberg & Rowell and she was completed in 1983. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Bannenberg & Rowell and she was last refitted in 2024.
Koru has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising two VIP cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 9 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Built with a aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks, she benefits from a semi-displacement hull to provide exceptional seakeeping and impressive speeds. Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 538 TE82) 3,000hp engines running at 2100rpm, she comfortably cruises at 19 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 22 knots with a range of up to 1,500 nautical miles from her 50,000 litre fuel tanks at 15 knots. Her water tanks store around 12,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to Lloyds Register classification society rules.
