The 44.34m/145'6" classic yacht 'Ile de France' (ex. Clipper 40) was built by Universal Yachts Corp. in Thailand at their Chonburi shipyard. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Pekka Koskenkyla and she was last refitted in 2005.
Ile de France has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 14 guests in 7 suites comprising one VIP cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 7 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Ile de France is built with a steel hull and GRP superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin Caterpillar (3406) engines, she comfortably cruises at 11 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 13 knots with a range of up to 6,334 nautical miles from her 45,000 litre fuel tanks at 10 knots. Her water tanks store around 17,300 Litres of fresh water. She was built to BV (Bureau Veritas) classification society rules.
