The 238.19ft Custom motor yacht motor yacht 'Queen K' was built by Lurssen in Germany at their Bremen shipyard , she was delivered to her owner in 2004 and last refitted in 2006. Previously named Queen M, her luxurious interior was designed by Donald Starkey.
Queen K's interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 18 guests overnight in 10 cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 22 crew onboard in 13 cabins to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Her interior can be described as calm and contemporary, the main feature being a dramatic spiral staircase that winds round the elevator encased in red travertine, and a whole deck devoted to the owner.
Queen K features a displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. She was built to Other classification society rules, and is MCA Compliant.
Queen K yacht is equipped with an ultra-modern stabilization system which reduces roll motion effect and results in a smoother more enjoyable cruising experience underway. This luxury yacht is also fitted with 'at anchor stabilisers' which work at anchor, increasing on-board comfort when the yacht is stationary, particularly in rough waters.
Powered by 2 MTU (16 V 4000 M 70) 3,152hp diesel engines and propelled by her twin screw propellers Motor yacht Queen K is capable of a top speed of 18 knots, and comfortably cruises at 16 knots. With her 250,000 litres fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. Her water tanks store around 30,000 litres of fresh water.
