The 42m/137'10" motor yacht 'Astra Ultima' (ex. Philante) was built by Brooke Marine in the United Kingdom at their Lowestoft shipyard. Her interior is styled by English design house H2 Yacht Design and she was completed in 1991. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Don Shead Yacht Design and she was last refitted in 2010.

Built with a aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks, she benefits from a semi-displacement hull to provide exceptional seakeeping and impressive speeds. Powered by twin diesel MTU (10V2000M92) 930hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 17 knots with a range of up to 4,500 nautical miles from her 41,500 litre fuel tanks at 11 knots. An on board stabilization system ensures comfort when underway. Her water tanks store around 7,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to Lloyds Register classification society rules, and is MCA Compliant.
