The multi-award winning 49.84m/163'6" motor yacht 'Thunder' (ex. Thunder A) was built by Oceanfast in Australia at their Henderson, WA shipyard. Her interior is styled by English design house Bannenberg & Rowell and she was completed in 1998. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Bannenberg & Rowell and she was last refitted in 2021.
Guest Accommodation
Thunder has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising one VIP cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 10 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Range & Performance
Built with a composite hull and composite superstructure, with teak decks, she has impressive speed and great efficiency thanks to her planing hull. Powered by 1 x gas turbine Textron Lycoming (TF40) 4,600hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 19 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 30 knots with a range of up to 3,000 nautical miles from her 70,500 litre fuel tanks at 18 knots. Her low draft of 1.49m/4'11" makes her primed for accessing shallow areas and cruising close to the shorelines. Her water tanks store around 5,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to DNV (Det Norske Veritas) classification society rules, and is MCA Compliant.
