The multi-award winning 54.86m/180' motor yacht 'Gene Machine' (ex. Engelberg) was built by Amels in the Netherlands at their Vlissingen shipyard. Her interior is styled by Italian designer design house Laura Sessa Romboli and she was delivered to her owner in August 2013. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Tim Heywood Design and she was last refitted in 2019.
Gene Machine has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 suites. The supremely spacious full beam master suite benefits from a his and her bathroom. She is also capable of carrying up to 16 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Her features include underwater lights, beach club, deck jacuzzi, WiFi and air conditioning.
Gene Machine is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 2000 M70) 16-cylinder 1,410hp engines running at 2100rpm, she comfortably cruises at 13 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 15 knots with a range of up to 4,500 nautical miles from her 115,000 litre fuel tanks at 13 knots. Gene Machine features at-anchor stabilizers providing exceptional comfort levels. Her water tanks store around 17,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to Lloyds Register ✠ 100A1 SSC Yacht Mono G6 classification society rules, and is MCA Compliant.
