The 53.4m/175'2" motor yacht 'Tales' (ex. Petara) was built by Turquoise Yachts in Turkey at their Tuzla, Istanbul shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Donald Starkey and she was delivered to her owner in May 2002. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Dubois Naval Architects and she was last refitted in 2012.
Guest Accommodation
Tales has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising one VIP cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 12 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Range & Performance
Tales is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3512B DITA) 1,498hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 14 knots with a range of up to 5,182 nautical miles from her 81,000 litre fuel tanks at 11 knots. Her water tanks store around 30,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) ✠A1, Yachting Service, Ⓔ, ✠AMS classification society rules, and is MCA LY2 Compliant.
