The 25.5m/83'8" expedition yacht 'Blue Pearl' (ex. Aisling) was built by Kuipers in the Netherlands at their Woudsend shipyard. Her interior is styled by Dutch design house Vripack and she was completed in 2000. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Dick Boon and she was last refitted in 2016.

Blue Pearl is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3406C DITA) 296hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 10 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 12 knots with a range of up to 5,758 nautical miles from her 30,480 litre fuel tanks at 9 knots. Her water tanks store around 7,440 Litres of fresh water.
