The 24m/78'9" open yacht 'Sur l'Onde 2' was built by Baia Yachts in Italy at their Baia shipyard. Her interior is styled by Italian designer design house Carlo Galeazzi and she was completed in 2006. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Alberto Ascenzi and she was last refitted in 2018.

Built with a composite hull and GRP superstructure, with grp & teak decks, she has impressive speed and great efficiency thanks to her planing hull. Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 2000 M91) 2,030hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 36 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 48 knots with a range of up to 450 nautical miles from her 5,500 litre fuel tanks at 12 knots. Her low draft of 1.15m/3'9" makes her primed for accessing shallow areas and cruising close to the shorelines. An on board stabilization system ensures comfort when underway. Her water tanks store around 1,200 Litres of fresh water. She was built to RINA (Registro Italiano Navale) classification society rules.
