The 77m/252'7" motor yacht 'Samar' was built by Devonport Yachts in the United Kingdom at their Plymouth shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Joe Thome and she was completed in 2006. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of H2 Yacht Design.
Samar has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 14 guests in 7 suites comprising two VIP cabins. Additionally, there are 2 staff cabins aboard. She is also capable of carrying up to 24 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Her features include steam room, beauty salon, satellite communications, underwater lights, gym, deck jacuzzi, WiFi and air conditioning.
Samar is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by 3 x diesel-electric Wartsila (9L20C) 2,412hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 14 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 17 knots with a range of up to 6,910 nautical miles from her 200,000 litre fuel tanks at 10 knots. Samar features at-anchor stabilizers providing exceptional comfort levels. Her water tanks store around 79,500 Litres of fresh water. She was built to Lloyds Register ✠100A1, SSC Yacht (P), Mono G6, ✠ LMC, UMS (to LY1) classification society rules, and is MCA Compliant.
