World’s Largest Expedition Yacht LUNA Now Open to Charter
It has now been announced that the world’s largest expedition yacht, the renowned 115m/377’ LUNA has officially joined the global charter fleet.
Known not only for her magnificent size but also for her exceptional levels of luxury, LUNA is an expedition yacht like no other and will exclusively be made available to select clients looking to cruise the far corners of the globe in style. Built in 2010 by Lloyd Werft as a replacement for Roman Abramovich’s 112.8m/370’ explorer yacht ‘LE GRAND BLEU’, she has also recently become the largest superyacht registered under the British flag, having been reflagged from her previous Bermuda.
Since her launch, superyacht LUNA’s undoubtedly luxurious Donald Starkey designed interior has been kept a closely guarded secret. However with this new announcement comes never before seen photos of her expansive outdoor living spaces and clean, contemporary styling. Her huge on deck swimming pool has been showcased as one of the main luxury amenities on board and for good reason.
Surrounded on three sides by wide, comfortable sunpads and flanked by two spacious shaded seating areas, the pool has even been fitted with multi coloured LED lights that illuminate it under the night sky. She also features two helipads and a superb private beach club with spectacular views out over the ocean.
She boasts a crew of 49 who are on hand to provide a five star service for up to 18 guests, accommodated in nine staterooms. Designed to be capable of offering expedition charters in the most extreme of environments such as Antarctica, LUNA also offers the style and comfort befitting of the Mediterranean cruising grounds.
