The Monaco Yacht Show 2017 Opens

By Oliver Pearson   27 September 2017

Ending months of heightened anticipation, the 27th edition of the Monaco Yacht Show officially opened in Port Hercules this morning.

One of the year's most talked-about events is now in full swing as Port Hercules and its surrounding waters abound with world-class motor yachts and sailing yachts.

Taking place across the next four days, the prestigious show will see over 125 superyachts go on display for the discerning visitors.

With even larger berths on offer, and the 110m/361ft motor yacht JUBILEE making history as the first yacht over 100 metres to attend, there's no doubt that the show is set to be a hit.

Getting up close to all of the action, the team at YachtCharterFleet headed out to Monaco to soak up the excitement of the opening day.

Charter yachts not to be missed at this year's Monaco Yacht Show include the brand new and award-winning 74m/243ft motor yacht ‘Cloud 9’ from the CRN shipyard. Quickly establishing herself as one of the most pioneering motor yachts available for charter, this future superstar boasts an innovative best beach club as well as a bespoke limousine tender for stylish boarding.

Another award-winner attending this year’s show is the 52m/171ft luxury yacht ‘Seven Sins’. Praised for her interior at the World Yacht Trophies only last week, those lucky enough to step on board will be able to get a taste of her forward-thinking design which runs throughout the communal and guest spaces.

Hosting and debuting a number of fantastic charter yachts, the Monaco Yacht Show 2017 promises to be a highly memorable edition

Also found around Port Hercules for the event is the super sleek 77m/253ft motor yacht ‘Silver Fast’. Totally unmistakeable, the aptly named vessel is one of the most high performing superyachts in the world, and is sure to attract plenty of attention at this year’s show.
