London's St. Katharine Docks and Old Billingsgate were transformed into a hub of luxury yesterday, as the inaguaral The London Yacht, Jet & Prestige Car Show 2015 opened its doors.
Until 10 April, over a hundred world-leading names from the world of superyachts, supercars, jets, watches and design are showcasing a luxury range of products at stands within Old Billingsgate, with London's iconic St. Katherine Docks host to an in-water display of vessels - including Princess yachts for visitors.
Attracting potential buyers, owners and their representatives, shipyards including Heesen, Westport, Holland Jachtbouw and Lürssen,met with visitors and presented their work (including a model of Lürssen's 2013-build, 85m motor yacht SOLANDGE). The show presented a prime networking opportunity for luxury industries, and it is hoped footfall will increase with each day of the 3-day event.
The event signals London's growing reputation as a leading destination for luxury goods.
The 2015 London Yacht, Jet and Prestige Car Show is open from 12-9pm daily until Friday 10 April.
