The 60m/197ft sailing yacht Perseus^3 is set to make its regatta debut at the Superyacht Cup Palma 2015 next month alongside an array of impressive charter yachts.

The latest attendee to the upcoming Superyacht Cup has been announced by organisers as the Perini Navi superyacht Perseus^3. She will compete as part of a fleet of over twenty luxury yachts in a 4-day schedule of racing.

Boasting one of the tallest mast ever built at 75.8m carbon mast built by Future Fibres, and a boom of more than 24m, Perseus^3 is one of the most innovative sailing yachts of recent times - with a total sail area totally over 10,000 m2. She will be handled by a minimum crew of 30 at the regatta for her first time sailing fully crewed around a racecourse.

Five over yachts over 45 metres are also set to compete in the regatta, the 45m/148ft Perini Navi sailing yacht 'Clan VIII,' 45m/148ft Wally superyacht SAUDADE, alongside Vitters charter yachts 46m/151ft award-winning S/Y GANESHA and 55m/180ft S/Y MARIE. A previous winner of the St. Barth's Bucket, MARIE has built a reputation on the regatta circuit since her delivery in 2010.

In collaboration with Pacha Mallorca, a busy social schedule of live music and themed parties will take place in the SYC tent every evening following racing.

Real Club Nautico de Palma (RCNP) is currently planning a new testing course around the picturesque Bay of Palma.
