PREVIEW: Charter Yachts Prepare for Dubois Cup 2015

A number of charter yachts are currently preparing for the upcoming Dubois Cup 2015, taking place from 28 to 30 May in Porto Cervo, Sardinia.

Held in conjunction with the VCCS, conditions are currently ideal for the 5th edition of the Dubois Cup - which seeks to showcase both Dubois excellence, and the quality of builds from other leading names in yachting. 

This year will see last year's class winner GANESHA will once again compete against an impressive line-up of charter yachts, including the 35m/115ft S/Y 'Caroline I,' 49m/163ft S/Y OHANA, 30m/98ft S/Y NOSTROMO and 30m/100ft PENELOPE

Some of the superyachts attending the Cup but not attending include the 40m/131ft sailing yacht VALQUEST and 55m/182ft TURQUOISE

GANESHA, VALQUEST and NOSTROMO are already in the harbour in anticipation for the regatta. 

The itinerary for the Dubois Cup 2015 is as follows:

Thursday 28 May

The event will officially open on Thursday with registration and inspections at the regatta's headquarters between 10.00am - 1.00pm and 3.00 - 6.00pm, followed by a welcome cocktail party until 8.00pm. 

Friday 29 May

Day One of racing will see the impressive fleet of superyachts participate in a Skipper's Briefing at YCCS Clubhouse before heading out onto this year's challenging course navigating the Porto Cervo archipelago. After race refreshments will take place at Piazza Azzurra, with an owner's dinner closing the evening's events.

Saturday 30 May

Day 2 will decide the victors in this year's event with another busy day of racing, following by a prize giving ceremony for everyone to enjoy.
