New Superyacht Marina bringing Turkish Riviera into Charter Spotlight

Officially opened in 2013, the Palmarina Bodrum marina in Turkey has successfully brought a new lease of life to the region’s superyacht industry following a successful charter season in the East Mediterranean.

Previously known as Port Bodrum Yalikavak Marina, Palmarina was bought by the Palmali Group in 2011 and completely reconstructed to accommodate growing demand for superyacht berths in the popular Mediterranean region. The marina is ideally situated along the Turkish Riviera, also known as the Turquoise Coast, which is famous for its fine beaches, mountainous backdrops and important historical sites.

Palmarina Bodrum offers berths for 710 yachts with a maximum length of 100m/328ft and is the only marina of its kind to offer such large capacity mooring for superyachts in Turkey. Affirming its place amongst the best marinas in the Mediterranean, it has reached international standards of safety, comfort and leisure facilities and as such continues to attract the worldwide elite with visits from the likes of Bill Gates, Roman Abramovich and Mick Jagger.

A number of luxury lifestyle facilities are also offered to visitors to include some world-class fine dining restaurants, chic cafes and the first ever Nobu Restaurant in Turkey as well as the glamorous eatery Cipriani and the world famous Billionaire Club.
