New Charter Yacht SEAHAWK Finalist in World Superyacht Awards

By Editorial Team   24 January 2014

The new 60 metre Perini Navi charter yacht SEAHAWK has been put forward as a finalist for a 2014 World Superyacht Award.

Custom built sailing yacht SEAHAWK was built in 2013 by the Perini Navi shipyard who are also responsible for her exterior design. The first yacht in the new generation 60 metre series, she boasts innovative hull lines and technology designed to enhance her speed and performance without compromising on comfort or space.

SEAHAWK's sleek aluminium hull and superstructure give her a gross tonnage of less than 500 GRT while her variable keel length allows her draught to go from 4.3m to 12.3m. With a total sail plan area of 2.125sqm, she features two aluminium masts while her booms are made of carbon fibre, as are her spreaders. Her interior comes from French designer Christian Liaigre and is sophisticated and contemporary.

As well being shortlisted as a finalist for the 'Best Sailing Yacht in 40m+ size range' World Superyacht Award, she has also been announced as a finalist for three Showboats Design Awards - 'Interior Design Award: Sailing Yachts', 'Exterior Design and Styling Award: Sailing Yachts' and 'Holistic Design Award'.

Charter yacht SEAHAWK is available to rent from €225,000 per week. Contact your yacht charter broker for more information.
