Luxury Charters in the Andaman Islands Now Available

By Editorial Team   9 January 2015

New legislation from Indian government now means charter yachts can visit the beautiful Andaman and Nicobar Islands on a superyacht vacation.

The introduction of a new E-visa (available at nine airports across India, including Delhi and Mumbai) is a move that the tourist board hope will attract more luxury yacht charters to the country and its beautiful surrounding islands.

The new Electronic Travel Authorisation Scheme makes it considerably easier for visitors to travel to India, as travellers must apply at least four days before arriving in India – rather than having to wait weeks for a standard visa.

The rarely visited territory of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands offer charter guests huge amounts of undiscovered natural beauty and wildlife to explore, totally over 570 unique islands – however less than these are available to visit on a charter vacation. Boasting world-class beaches and diving opportunities, the picture-perfect opaque waters of the Andaman Islands are a particular highlight of an yacht charter in India and offer a taste of a mix of different Southeasten cultures.

As one of the most secluded places in the world, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands are the perfect charter destination, with privacy and peace and quiet paramount.
