Iconic Charter Yacht M5 Completes Refit

By Editorial Team   13 May 2014

Superyacht M5 left Falmouth recently on completion of her extensive 24 month refit at the Pendennis shipyard and is available to charter once more.

Formerly known as MIRABELLA V, sailing yacht M5’s remodelling began back in the spring of 2012. The owner’s team worked diligently to remodel and modernise her, bringing together a number of well-known industry names. Her sophisticated art deco inspired interior came from the team at Redman Whiteley Dixon while her new lightweight carbon rigging was designed and cunstructed by Carbo-link with OYS making all the fitting. Marine Results fitted all the rigging onto the mast.

The captain and owner’s rep on M5, Rocka Romcke, said, “We are all incredibly proud of our involvement in and management of the extensive refit on M5. Working together with all of our key project partners, we have given M5 a new lease of life and prepared her for her next adventure.”

Upon completion of her refit, sail trial and systems testing earlier this year, M5 left Falmouth and headed to the South Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.

The world’s largest sloop and one of the most advance sailing yachts on the water, M5 is available to charter once more. Be one of the first to step on board and delight in her brand new styling. Talk to you charter broker today.
