The 75m (246ft) motor yacht ARROW has been delivered by Feadship and is currently undertaking her maiden voyage towards the Mediterranean.
Following successful sea trials starting in mid-February, Feadship has successfully delivered charter yacht ARROW to her Owners.
The motor yacht left Feadship's facilities via IJmuiden yesterday, where she cruised past fellow Feadship, the 73m (239ft) luxury yacht PODIUM. Podium was returning to the yard after another day of sea trials, and the pair met at the mouth of the North Sea Canal, as you can see in the video below.
According to her AIS tracking system, ARROW's first port of call will be Gibraltar. She will then be hosting yacht charters in the Mediterranean this summer.
The motor yacht features interior and exterior design from Jonny Horsfield of H2 Yacht Design. She was launched at Feadship's de Vries facilities as part of an official launch ceremony on January 13.
Key features of the 1891 GT superyacht include a large beach club with a highly unique bar, a well-appointed sundeck with a bespoke mosaic-tiled pool and elaborate interiors with highly-detailed furnishings. High ceilings and wide gangways contribute to her spacious feel.
She offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in six cabins with a crew of 19.
With her Feadship pedigree and an excellent selection of amenities, the yacht is expected to be highly in-demand for luxury yacht charters this summer and beyond.
It's been a busy period for Feadship, with both PODIUM and the 100m (327ft) superyacht MOONRISE setting off on sea trials in the past few weeks. This activity signals a promising future for shipyards in Northern Europe amid the COVID-19 crisis.
