Countdown Begins to the Monaco Grand Prix 2017

Even more superyachts will start arriving in Monaco’s Port Hercules over the next week in time for the adrenaline-packed Monaco Grand Prix, which gets underway with practice sessions on Thursday 25^th May.

One of the most iconic fixtures in sport, the Monaco Grand Prix requires a combination of precision driving, technical excellence and sheer bravery and, second only to the racing cars, are the scores of luxury yachts berthed trackside for the best seats in the house.

After qualify sessions on Friday and Saturday, the main event will begin at 2pm local time on Sunday 28^th May. The race follows a roaring performance from Lewis Hamilton in Barcelona, who managed to cut Sebastian Vettel’s lead at the top of Driver’s Standings down to six points.

Crowds will flock to the streets of Monte Carlo, with the world’s elite watching from the comfort of a superyacht, to take in the action and see whether Hamilton or Vettel drives to victory.

Many of the yachts will be arriving from Cannes after soaking up the glitz and glamour of the Cannes Film Festival and, by night, some will host a glittering superyacht party for which the Monaco Grand Prix is now renowned.
