In a bid to increase the amount of superyacht charters in Thailand, the country will announce a ‘new package’ for foreign-flagged vessels visiting Phuket. The changes in legislation are expected in November 2015, in time for the Phuket International Yacht Show.
Tourism and Sports Minister, Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul exclusively revealed the new plans to the Phuket Gazette, including changes visa laws and tax exemptions to benefit superyacht owners and charterers in Thailand.
