The 40.24m/132' motor yacht 'Free Day' (ex. Galaktica) was built by Benetti in Italy at their Viareggio shipyard. Her interior is styled by French designer design house Zuretti and she was completed in 2014. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Stefano Righini.
Free Day has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising one VIP cabin and one cabin that can operate as twin or double. She is also capable of carrying up to 7 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Free Day is built with a GRP hull and GRP superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 2000 M72) 1,450hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 14 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots with a range of up to 4,000 nautical miles from her 45,000 litre fuel tanks at 12 knots. Her low draft of 2.23m/7'4" makes her primed for accessing shallow areas and cruising close to the shorelines. An advanced stabilisation system on board promises exceptional comfort levels at anchor or on any voyage. Her water tanks store around 7,200 Litres of fresh water. She was built to RINA (Registro Italiano Navale) classification society rules, and is MCA Compliant.
