The 151.25ft Custom motor yacht motor yacht 'Scorpio' was built by Delta Marine in United States at their Seattle shipyard , she was delivered to her owner in 1996 and last refitted in 2003. This luxury vessel's sophisticated exterior design and engineering are the work of Delta Design Group. Previously named Sally Ann, her luxurious interior was designed by Jim Hoeferlin.
Scorpio's interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests overnight in 5 cabins, comprising a master suite, 2 VIP staterooms, 1 double cabin and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 10 crew onboard in 5 cabins to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Scorpio features a full displacement composite hull and composite superstructure, with teak decks. She was built to Lloyds Register ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) classification society rules.
Motor yacht Scorpio is equipped with an ultra-modern stabilization system which reduces roll motion effect and results in a smoother more enjoyable cruising experience underway.
Powered by 2 Caterpillar (3508-TA (A-Rated)) 855hp diesel engines and propelled by her twin screw propellers Motor yacht Scorpio is capable of a top speed of 14 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 81,378 litres fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 6,800 nautical miles at 13 knots. Her water tanks store around 18,547 litres of fresh water.
