The 193.57ft Conversion expedition motor yacht 'Intuition II' was built by Amels in Netherlands at their Makkum shipyard , she was delivered to her owner in 1974 and last refitted in 1999. Previously named Spica, her luxurious interior was designed by Southampton Yacht Services Ltd.
Intuition II's interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 14 guests overnight in 7 cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 14 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Intuition II features a displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. She was built to Lloyds Register classification society rules, and is MCA Compliant.
Powered by 3 Deutz (BA8M816W) 1,093hp diesel engines, 1 Smit-Bolnes 1,329hp diesel-electric engines and propelled by her single screw propeller Motor yacht Intuition II is capable of a top speed of 13 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots. With her 85,500 litres fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 6,910 nautical miles at 10.5 knots. Her water tanks store around 20,000 litres of fresh water.
