The 191ft Conversion expedition motor yacht 'Pangaea' was built by Halter Marine in United States at their New Orleans, LA shipyard , she was delivered to her owner in 1999 and last refitted in 2002. This luxury vessel's sophisticated exterior design and engineering are the work of Trinity Yachts. Previously named Samantha Lin, Her exterior is styled by the Trinity Yachts team who are also responsible for the entire engineering package.
Pangaea's interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests overnight in 6 cabins, comprising a master suite, She is also capable of carrying up to 11 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Pangaea features a full displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. She was built to ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) classification society rules, and is MCA Compliant.
Pangaea yacht is equipped with an ultra-modern stabilization system which reduces roll motion effect and results in a smoother more enjoyable cruising experience underway. This luxury yacht is also fitted with 'at anchor stabilisers' which work at anchor, increasing on-board comfort when the yacht is stationary, particularly in rough waters.
Powered by 2 Caterpillar (3508 B ) 1,000hp diesel engines and propelled by her twin screw propellers Motor yacht Pangaea is capable of a top speed of 14 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 246,052 litres fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 12,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. Her water tanks store around 32,176 litres of fresh water.
