The 21st edition of the Les Voiles d’Antibes is once again set to provide a magnificent opening to the Mediterranean circuit for traditional yachts.
Every year around the beginning of June, the Les Voiles d’Antibes offers five days of majestic racing and some of the warmest and liveliest celebrations on the Mediterranean circuit.
Stationed aptly in the French marina of Port Vauban, Europe's first and largest marina, some of the most impressive nineteenth century sailing yachts gather. The impressive array of regal sailing yachts include Vintage Yachts built before 1950, Classic Yachts built before 1976 and Spirit of Tradition Yachts and Metric Classics.
Marked as opening of the racing circuit, there is an exciting buzz that fills the air as the event welcomes new renovations, upgrades to optimise performance, and new crew and owners eager to test their yachts in the regatta and 23km coastline match races.
In addition, as the first stage of Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge the atmosphere at the event both day and night is always energetic. Concerts, exhibitions, parades and constant social events celebrate all things sea, environment and the host of legendary boats, whilst Antibes' famous Jazz scene keeps the atmosphere vibrant and cheerful.
