28 Sep - 7 Oct 2013
First run 26 years ago as La Nioulargue, Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez attracts an amazing selection of yachts.
This year the regatta is expected to gather together around 300 of the world's most extraordinary modern sailing yachts as well as some exquisite classic yachts, and once again racers are expected to come from around the globe to participate.
There will be a slight change to this years schedule, with a 'Centenarian's Race' set to take place for the very first time on the Thursday, during the Challenge day, and involving yachts between 15 and 20 metres. The modern yachts will pay the traditional entry fee whereas the traditional yachts will be asked to make a donation for the benefit of the SNSM (the French equivalent of the RNLI).
There will be plenty to keep land lovers occupied too, with the outdoor Grand Village system with bar and terrace, as well as an abundance of entertainment - from the famous Sardinade (fish fry) on Tuesday evening to the crew procession on Thursday evening.
Awarded to the winner of the Classic Division over 16 metres, the battle for the Rolex trophy is one of excitement and exhilaration. Don't miss out on the wonderful opportunity to witness this spectacular race for yourself.
