Supermodel and businesswoman Heidi Klum has shared the first photos of her Italian wedding to Tom Kaulitz on board Jackie O’s former yacht, the 99m/235ft classic yacht ‘Christina O’.
A star-studded wedding took place off the coast of Capri over the weekend, with Heidi Klum tying the knot with guitarist Tom Kaulitz on board the ever-iconic Christina O.
This isn't the first time the yacht has been the backdrop to high-profile weddings; the superyacht also played host to the wedding of Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier III of Monaco, as well Jackie Kennedy's wedding to Aristotle Onassis.
Following in their famous footsteps, Klum shared snaps from her big day on social media, as well as photos and videos from their time in Capri.
Read on to discover everywhere the bridal party visited, as well as getting an inside peak into the classic yacht which hosted them.
'Limoncello All Day'
Heidi shared a video of herself and the wedding party enjoying some authentic Italian limoncello, captioning it, 'limoncello all day'. The island of Capri is famed for its limoncello, which strikes the perfect balance between sweet and tart.
Tom Kaulitz is also in the video, along with twin brother and fellow Tokio Hotel bandmember Bill Kaulitz.
The cool digestif was well-earned, after the trio spent an afternoon seeing the sights of Capri. A picture shared by Heidi suggests they walked the Gardens of Augustus, which offers spectacular views over the Faraglioni rock formation rising up from the sea.
Unwinding at Fontelina
The entourage went on to spend a sun-soaked afternoon at Fontelina, one of Capri's oldest and most enviable beach clubs.
It was first discovered by Sophia Loren and Bridgitte Bardot in the Hollywood heyday, and has since become an exclusive venue that has welcomed countless A-listers through its doors. It boasts a world-class Mediterranean restaurant and a strip of beach where guests can stretch out and sip sangria.
That's exactly how Heidi and the group chose to while away the day, with added champagne and sunshine. Singer and former co-host Mel B even joined in the festivities, and her friend shared a picture on board the flower-draped decks of Christina O.
Swimming in the Blue Grotto
The Blue Grotto is one of Capri's most beguiling and romantic attractions, and Heidi and Tom shared a magical moment checking out this naturally-occurring phenomenon.
Accessible only via boat, this semi-submerged cave is filled with seawater that appears to glow. It's caused by sunlight streaming through the water from outside, and it's invariably popular among those undertaking crewed yacht charters.
Kissing under La Faraglioni
Towering over Capri, the Faraglioni rock formation is steeped in myth and legend.
One such legend dictates that if you kiss your loved one while sailing under the arches, your love will be true forever.
The pair evidently decided to put this myth to the test, and they were snapped mid-kiss as they cruised below the limestone arch.
Loved up in Capri
The couple spent plenty of time exploring the island and the surrounding coastlines of Italy as part of their vacation.
While the pair initially wed in a secret ceremony in February, these nuptials were held with friends and family present.
Heidi shared the first offical picture of her wedding on Instagram, captioning "We did it [...] Mr. and Mrs. Kaulitz". The couple are both standing on Christina O's decks wearing white, framed by a pergola heavy with flowers.
Dining at Da Paolina
Hidden under a canopy of lemon trees, Da Paolina is one of Capri's finest celebrity hang-outs.
The newlyweds indulged in a romantic meal at the restaurant, with Heidi sharing a video of herself in her husband's arms as he picks her up to pick a lemon from above.
Inside the luxury yacht from Heidi Klum's wedding
It may be many years since Christina O played host to the likes of Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra and Grace Kelly, but the superyacht is still welcoming famous faces on board.
Owned by Aristotle and Jackie Onassis (formerly Kennedy), the superyacht exudes Old-World glamour and allure, making her the ultimate option for wedding charters.
She also offers guests the chance to feel even closer to a slice of rich and fascinating American history.
Launched in 1943 from Canadian Vickers, the motor yacht provides accommodation for an incredible 34 guests in 17 staterooms, including the now-famous ‘Onassis Suite’.
The bridal party no doubt loved the lounge bar, with its lavish stage and grand piano set-up. The dining room is equally decadent, with oil paintings hanging from the walls and cream pillars flanking the space.
Her interiors share the same timeless sophistication as the White House during the Jackie Kennedy era, balancing warmth and comfort with elegance and refined taste.
Choice of alfresco areas
The yacht's alfresco areas are equally impressive, with a huge mosaic-tiled pool taking centre stage on the main deck aft.
It has the highly unique capacity of functioning as both a dancefloor and a pool, and no doubt proved popular among the wedding party in Capri.
The yacht is also home to a jacuzzi pool on the upper deck, with a bar and plenty of lounging options for making the most out of the sun.
However, the pair chose the sundeck for the ceremony. Offering unbeatable views and a spacious area for guests to congregate, the ceremony looked like it was equally as romantic as the yacht where it took place.
