The youngest and westernmost island in the Galapagos, Fernandina Island is fringed with a beautifully elaborate reef and populated with a number of unique species. Accessed via the northeast corner, visitors to Fernandina are able to enter the small mangrove forest at Punta Espinosa, a dry inlet littered with approachable penguins.
