The 2014 edition of the Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS) opened today in Amsterdam and sees a record number of exhibitors presenting a wider selection of marine equipment, products and systems than ever before.

Every year professionals from all areas of the yachting industry gather together for the world’s largest trade-only exhibition of marine associated products. Organised by the Amsterdam RAI in association with the International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA), this year’s METS will run over three days and will offer its renowned dedication to the latest innovations from within the yachting industry.

Featuring three main stages, to include ‘The Innovation Stage’, ‘The Waterfront Stage’ and ‘The METS Young Professionals Club’ METS 2014 is expected to welcome more than 20,000 visitors from over 100 countries. The event also features a show-within-a-show dedicated to suppliers, products and services for luxury superyachts – The SuperYacht Pavilion. This special dedicated superyacht area offers a meeting point for superyacht designers, builders, Captains and brokers to meet, host seminars and network.
