72m Superyacht O'Pari 3 Launched in Greece

Over the weekend the most significant Greek built charter yacht in recent years was launched in Vouliagmeni near Athens by Golden Yachts.

At 71.85m (236 ft) Motor Yacht O'Pari 3 is the largest yacht built by Golden Yachts, and currently the 5th largest yacht ever built in Greece. The largest being the sisterships Atlantis I & Atlantis II at 115m (380ft) which were built in 1973. Then in 2004 /2005 the late Andreas Liveras launched two identical yachts Alysia and Annaliesse, the largest and most innovative charter yachts of their time, designed as the ultimate luxury charter vacation experience. At 85.2m /280ft they can carry upto 36 guests in 18 staterooms, they are still available for charter and now renamed Moonlight II and Delma.

M/Y O'Pati 3 Jacuzzi

Designed by Giorgio and Stefano Vafiadis at Studio Vafiadis, M/Y O'Pari 3, is the ninth yacht they have designed for the owner. Commenting on the design of this yacht Giorgio Vafiadis says “We came up with a yacht with well-balanced volumes and a gentle longitudinal profile with continuous lines and low bulkheads to enhance the sea views. The main deck, upper deck and bridge deck all have uninterrupted sea views thanks to the low bulwarks.”

As well as a 'modern but contemporary design' that would stand the test of time the owner stipulated to the designers that M/Y O'pari 3 would need to accommodate his VIP guests in cabins equal or very similar to the owner's stateroom, the result is a superyacht with three owner’s suites. This is also great news for a group of friends with families looking to charter a large superyacht as all the parents will be happy that there are 3 master suites.

Unlike all her predecessors M/Y O'Pari 3 is Greek owned and will be the flagship of the Greek Charter Fleet when she is delivered later this year. The owner of the shipyard has named all his yachts beginning with the letter 'O'.
